This is one of the very early
homes in Bellvale. In
the description of Bellvale in the years around 1800 by
Mr. Charles Fitzgerald, this house is described as a "tenement
on the Wilson tract now(1889) belonging to William S. Clark.
In the 1850 Census the following people are believed to
have lived here:
William Clark
age 40- a miller
Fanny Clark age 34
John Clark age 11
Ann E. Clark age 7
Norman Clark age 4
Edward Clark age 3
