The Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation inaugurated the Expanding Possibilities capital campaign to supplement funds for the new library building. It is the Foundation’s vision that a great community deserves a first-class library. The $8.5 million bond passed by the voters in March of 2007 provides for the basic construction of the new library. Private support from individuals, civic groups, businesses and foundations can make the difference between a good library and an outstanding one. The goal of Expanding Possibilities is to raise $500,000 to build a first-class library through expanded collections, advanced technology and other innovative educational and furnishing enhancements.
