Ahead to 2011 : a Five Year Plan for the Albert Wisner Public Library

An updated Strategic Plan, our vision for the future and the roadmap on how to achieve that vision, is now available. Over the past year, the library’s Board of Trustees and staff, using input from various community meetings about the library, have crafted Ahead to 2011: A Five Year Plan for the Albert Wisner Public Library

The Plan includes four basic sections: Vision, Mission, Values and Goals & Objectives. Our three overarching goal areas are: Enrich Library Experience for All, Access to Technology and Educational Resources, and Popular Materials and Programs. We have developed strategic objectives and activities for each of these goal areas. Please take a few minutes to review Ahead to 2011 and comment on our work so far.
