Join us for a discussion of this extraordinary book which was inspired by the author's four grandparents and by a pantheon of authors whose work is haunted by loss—Bruno Schulz, Franz Kafka, Isaac Babel, and more. Local author Anita Page will sign her book "Damned If You Don't", a dark traditional mystery set in the Catskill Mountains.
Page's short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, ezines and print journals. She received a Derringer Award from the Short Mystery Fiction Society in 2010 for her short story, "Twas the Night".
