Local artist, Leila Noueihed, will guide this class through a simple acrylic art piece while we sip "mocktails." Registration is required. No experience necessary.
Here's the story behind RAOH:
The Library will open today at 12:00 noon to allow time for staff training in the morning.
Eliminate the frustration from failed gardening attempts in 'deer country.' Learn the possibilities of deer resistant plants so that you can create and enjoy beauty in your surroundings. There are many plants which are not palatable to the ' beasts.' We will review many of them and how to design with them. Bring a problem area from your own residence to find some beautiful solutions together!
Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world. Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish. Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.
