Come to the Library to pick up a tree seedling provided by the Dept. of Environmental Conservation's State Tree Nursery in Saratoga Springs.  Plant it in your yard and watch it grow through the years.

People Living with Dementia (with their CarePartners) Canceled for April 2 to be rescheduled

Music Socials are offered for people with living with Dementia with their caregivers. Certified Music Therapist Melinda Burgard leads the interactive groups, in which participants may explore music history as well as their own individual musical histories.  Groups may play instruments, sing along or move to the music.  Refreshments will also be served.

A reading and discussion of Jerry's new novel, CONVERGENCE will take us thirty-two years in to the near future.  This dystopian/sci-fi warning will provoke, entertain and energize us to consider what kind of world we want to inhabit.

 

An author signing will follow the discussion with copies of the book available for purchase. 

 

Jerry Sander is the author of the novels PERMISSION SLIPS and UNLIMITED CALLING (CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS APPLY).

Spring Frog Walk – Program and Field Trip CANCELLED

Join Audubon's Pam Golben for a  multi-medium program begins with an illustrated slide show. Become familiar with the frog and toad species of New York State and learn to identify them by sight and sound. We will also discuss frog conservation issues and Citizen Science opportunities.  Following the presentation, take a walk to the wetlands behind the library where we will practice identifying frogs by their vocalizations.
