A new type of astronomical observatory came into existence in the past decade, and in the past several years has produced amazing results. These are the gravitational wave observatories - LIGO in the United States and VIRGO in Italy. These observatories are looking for, and now are frequently finding, minute disturbances in space-time.

Archaeologist Edward J. Lenik will present material from his new book, Ramapough Lenape Heritage. The book focuses on the evidence of continuous indigenous occupation uncovered from early 20th century explorations by amateur archaeologists to the careful, scientific excavations and analyses of the late 20th and early 21st century professionals. Much of the material in this book can be found only in cultural resource studies filed in New York and New Jersey state repositories. Mr.
