The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project promotes Korean history and culture to the wider world. The presentation will provide a basic introduction to Korea's long and rich artistic history, the spirit of its people, and its cultural values. The program will include insight into Korean history and culture with a demonstration of the Korean wedding ceremony in beautiful, traditional costume. There will also be a special recognition of local Korean War veterans. Following the program, traditional Korean meals will be served.
For children who have completed grades K-3. Naturalist Deb Keane will show us how to create a miniature gnome world with moss, pebbles, sticks and other objects.
Ages 10-36 months. Join music therapist Melinda Burgard for this fun music class for little ones. Sing, clap and dance together with your child. This 5 week session will meet on Monday mornings. Registration will begin June 15 at the library.
For children who have completed grades 2-5. Join us on an adventure as we travel back in time to Ancient Egypt. Use heiroglyphics to write your name and make a cat mummy. This program will meet on July 9 and 16. Participants must be able to come to both sessions.
Ages 4-7. Help us beautify our lovely patio. We will plant flowers in the garden and you will also get to take home a flower and decoration for your own garden.
