The Anne Frank Center's signature live drama performance is taken directly from Anne's diary and provides a uniquely personal glimpse into Anne's time in hiding. Questions and answers with "Anne" will follow the performance.

Artist and author Agnes Adler shares her story of how her experience as a survivor of the horrors of Nazi-occupied Hungary shaped her development as a fine creative artist and wise, compassionate human being. Some of Agnes's sculpture will be on display in the Library. She will also share from her published book "On Swallow's Wings: the Personal Journey of Agnes Adler." Copies of her book will be available for purchase.
Do you love to write poems? Come to the Hidden Poetry Picnic, the only poetry writing workshop held under a blanket fort.* This year's workshop will be led by local poet Mary Makofske. Bring your poems to share. You'll have the opportunity to workshop your poem for our annual poetry contest, too! Lemonade and other refreshments will be served.
Hilary Eddy Stipelman, Director of Outreach & Exhibitions at the Anne Frank Center USA, will speak about Anne's relationship with her diary and about the impact her writing continues to have around the world. Following her presentation, Hilary will lead a tour of the exhibition, highlighting the history of the time and Anne's own development as a writer.
