For the month of July the Library is presenting in the Board Room "Outside the Lines", the art of Ivan L. Sanford. Meet this local artist in the Board Room and learn more about his work.
Learn some basic drawing and painting skills! Or, if you are already good at drawing, come and try out some new materials! Draw or paint with acrylics, watercolors, pastels, colored pencils, charcoal or markers.
Make your own unique papers using organic materials like flower petals, onion skins, and colored pencil shavings. The papers can be made into traditional flat pieces or pressed into molds.
Do you like to write stories, poetry, screenplays, or song lyrics? Join the Teen Creative Writing Workshop. Bring in your work each week for constructive feedback and share ideas with other writers. Sessions will be facilitated by writer Tom Naples in this member-driven workshop.
Please bring a writing sample to the first workshop on July 6. Samples must be 500 words or less. Poetry and prose are both welcome.
