Learn how to make a traditional, braided rag rug.  Rag rugs are a great way to use up and repurpose recycled fabrics like old T-shirts.   In this class you will learn expert tips on how to properly prepare (shred /cut) the recycled fabric into strips and connect them to make one continuous “yarn” for braiding into a rug.  All materials will be provided.  Feel free to bring your own T-shirts for a more personalized feel to your rug.

Irving Berlin’s music does not have the rhythmic or harmonic complexities of a Gershwin tune nor the sly naughtiness of a Cole Porter hitHis shows are no longer the staple of high school and community productions in the same way Rodgers and Hammerstein plays live on.
