AWPL Foundation News and Events

Historic Tile Mural:  AWPL Foundation is pleased to support the installation of a historic tile mural in the Library lobby.  Sponsorships of individual tiles for the mural, "Valley Voices," are closed.  When installed, the mural will depict 62 images from the history of the Warwick Valley.  The mural will be bordered by book spine tiles and name tiles.  Each tile is designed, sculpted, painted and fired by ceramic tile artist Marion Grebow.  The tiles are currently in production and an event for the installation is being planned.  Details will be posted here as they become available.  Invitations will be sent to all tile mural donors.

AWPL Foundation College Scholarship Competition:  the winners of the 2013 competition will be announced in May 2013.  The topic for the 2014 competition will be announced in January 2014.  College-bound high school seniors who reside in the Warwick Valley Central School District are eligible to apply.
