Are you looking to have more compassion in your life?  To strengthen your communication with others?  Share deeper and more meaningful connections?  Join us for an introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a new generation of human connection and peacemaking skills that’s changing the way we think about conflict, compassion and our future. Come learn about this transformative practice.  Ideal for couples, families and anyone looking to improve their relationships within themselves and with others. This interactive introduction will cover basic concepts and practices and will include open Q&A segments, as well as an experiential exercise.

Presenter Lyndsey Harrington practices Nonviolent Communication as a way to deepen her compassion for all beings. She first felt inspired to read "Nonviolent Communication" by Marshall Rosenberg while working as a community organizer in Brooklyn in 2012.  In 2014, her desire for further integration led her to begin studying with New York Center for Nonviolent Communication, and in 2017, she joined their core staff as a facilitator and course coordinator. With a background in the healing arts, she has discovered that supporting others in learning NVC is one of her highest joys.
