Do you have a box full of pictures that you keep meaning to organize?  Or perhaps you have a laptop full of photos related to your travels or life experiences.  Or maybe you use your cell phone to document your family’s activities.  Using a Web 2.0 tool called Findery, which allows you to create and share content that you generate online, you can organize and write about your cherished memories with the guidance of a facilitator in a supportive group setting.

2 Class Sessions:  Registration is for both sessions.  Attendance at both classes is requested.  To register call the Library at 986-1047 ext. 5  Please indicate if you will need to use a Library Laptop.

June 6:
Bring photos to scan from 5:00pm - 6:00pm using the Library's scanner. In addition, bring digital photos (on a flash drive or CD) that you would like to write about.  Bring your own laptop or use a Library laptop to learn about a Web 2.0 tool called Findery to organize and preserve your memories in the form of short narratives.  Publish to the Web.  Share stories with each other.

June 13:
Bring local photos from Warwick on paper, flash drive, or cell phone.  Discuss photos with the group. Write one or two stories about the photos.  Publish to the Web.  Guidance will be offered on editing.
