Warwick Cafe Reading Project

Coordinated quarterly by the Library, the Village of Warwick and Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe, the Warwick Cafe Reading Project puts multiple free copies of the same book in cafes around Warwick.  The book is intended to stimulate conversation and a shared community reading experience.  The project is entirely underwritten by the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation.

The Fall 2017 selection for the Warwick Cafe Reading Project is Agatha Christie's 1934 classic mystery Murder on the Orient Express, featuring Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.  A new movie adaptation will be released in theaters on November 10, 2017, with Kenneth Branagh as Poirot and also starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dame Judi Dench and Penelope Cruz.  You will find copies of the book at Caffe a la Mode, Noble Pies Cafe, Edenville General Store, Conscious Fork, Jean-Claude's Patisserie and Tuscan Cafe.  After reading Murder on the Orient Express, please either return it to a participating cafe, or pass it along to a friend or family member.
