Coordinated quarterly by the Library, the Village of Warwick and Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe, the Warwick Cafe Reading Project puts multiple free copies of the same book in cafes around Warwick. The book is chosen by popular vote on the Library's website and is intended to stimulate conversation and a shared reading experience. The project is entirely underwritten by the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation.
In support of the American Library Association's Operation 451, the Winter 2017 selection for the Warwick Cafe Reading Project is Ray Bradbury's classic Fahrenheit 451. You will find copies at Caffe a la Mode, Noble Pies Cafe, Sugar Shack Cafe, Conscious Fork, Jean-Claude's Patisserie and Tuscan Cafe. After reading Fahrenheit 451, please either return it to the cafe where you found it, or pass it along to a friend or family member.
