Weather-Related Closings

When the Warwick Valley Central School District closes school, or delays opening because of inclement weather, the Library will automatically delay opening until 11:00am.  Other weather-related Library closings will be on a case-by-case basis, authorized by the Board of Trustees and announced on the website, on the answering machine, and if possible, posted at the Library.  Fines are forgiven on days when the Library is closed for inclement weather.

Other Closings Policy
On occasion, the Library may close for operational or safety reasons, or for periodic staff training.  These closings will be authorized by the Library Board of Trustees and posted at the Library and on its website.
