Your Place, Your Library: Annual Appeal 2011/2012

The theme of Albert Wisner Library Foundation's Annual Appeal this year is "Your Place, Your Library."  The Library is so much more than a place to find books, and the Foundation, Board of Trustees and staff celebrate that through the diversity of materials, programs and activities found daily at the Library. 

Thanks to generous donations to last year's Appeal, Your Place has continued to grow and meet the changing needs of our community.  Some of this year's areas of growth include:

* Additional hours on Friday evenings and on Sunday afternoons
* Free concert series
* Expanded computer instruction classes
* Access to e-book readers and to an expanded collection of digital books

This year, a gift to the Annual Appeal could be the ideal gift for the library lover in your life.  A personalized gift card will acknowledge your thoughtful donation this holiday season.  And a donation in December 2011 or January 2012 will be doubled, through an exceptionally generous matching grant from donors Donna Applegate and Jonah Mandelbaum, and Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.
