Author K.L. Going will join us for a reading and puppet show of her beautiful book, This Is The Planet Where I Live. The puppet show will star members of the Library's Teen Advisory Board -- and the Earth, of course! Make an Earth Day sign after the show.
For Families
Parents and their children are invited to drop-in for informal chess play. Chess sets will be provided.
A high-stakes competition with your peers. Your team will receive a basket of random ingredients which you’ll use to invent a unique salad. Teen judges will sample and award the Grand Prize for the most original.
In addition to our regular LEGO Sunday event today we'll be offering fast-paced, timed, LEGO building challenges. During and after the event you'll be able to show off and display what you've made.

We’ll provide a paint by number kit for you to make a painting by matching the numbers to the colors.

Choose an illustrated literary character from our collection or yours to glue to cardboard and cut out. We’ll use the characters in our “tunnel” theater for one of the library’s display cases.
