Come join us for a slice of pizza and some brain science!
Students will learn the facts about basic brain science and how addictive technology like social media and video games affect their developing brains. They will learn how to build a healthy brain, recognize the warning signs of screen overuse, and be encouraged and excited to live life off screens.
Presented by Heather Franklin. Heather is a Warwick mother of two with a bachelor's degree in physical education(K-12) and a minor in coaching from the University of Central Florida. She has been teaching children since 2000 in a variety of sports such as gymnastics, swimming, rowing, and circus arts. She is passionate about sharing the ScreenStrong message while empowering and supporting families.

Author K.L. Going will join us for a reading and puppet show of her beautiful book, This Is The Planet Where I Live. The puppet show will star members of the Library's Teen Advisory Board -- and the Earth, of course! Make an Earth Day sign after the show.
