What is a decision? Claude Prevots, a system architect and ethicist, will discuss the position that a decision is a theme to be tested. Using the situations of Hamlet and Galileo, he will engage the participants in an entertaining discussion of the science of decision making.

Don Urmstrom of the Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club will tell you how to get started, what gear you will need, where to go paddling, where to meet other paddlers and where to get instruction on your technique. See and feel the difference in kayaks, paddles and other equipment with our hands-on presentation. Special attention is given to kayak safety and choosing your first kayak.
