After the last of his five daughters finished college Arthur Baxter decided to realize a dream he first had as a kid growing up in Miami. He went to east Africa in September 2008, planning to visit Tanzania, go on safari, and attempt a climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It was an unforgettable adventure.
The presentation will include a personal narrative together with over 100 photos that will tell the story of a 50 mile trek climbing over 20,000 feet in 8 days to reach Kilimanjaro's summit.
