Luz Lopez will introduce you to the basics of Conversational Spanish. Attendance at all session is strongly encouraged.
The Mango Language Learning software will be used for this class; go the the "Find, Read, Watch and Learn" tab on the homepage=>select "Research Databases=>click on the "language" tab and scroll down to "Mango". Use the app for your mobile device or the web version for PCs. Contact the Help Desk at 845-986-1047, option 4 with questions.
A social gathering for people living with Dementia and their care partners. Come make new friends and interact in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment without fear of embarrassment or being misunderstood. Melinda Burgard, NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, will facilitate.
Luz Lopez will delve deeper into the language with advanced beginners to intermediate speakers. Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged.
Coalby will back this Spring to hear you read a book. If you can't yet read, a caregiver can read to you and the dog!

May is National Lyme Disease Awareness Month, so let’s get ready for tick season! Ticks can carry multiple diseases that pose serious health issues. Participants will learn about the different types of ticks in our area, the diseases they carry, where they are likely to be found, and precautions to take to avoid direct contact with them. Everyone will learn how to dress for the woods and how to do a “tick check.” The whole family is welcome at this interactive program.
