Book Hipsters will meet to discuss their favorite books. New members are always welcome.

Come join us for a screening of "Do the Math", a film on climate change produced by 350.org. It includes the latest on climate change, including footage of their recent nationwide bus tour. See the film and stay for a discussion of the issues and what we can do about climate change. This program is sponsored by Sustainable Warwick.

Ages 5-10 with parent. Learn bicycle safety through this hands-on, fun experience. Bring your bike and helmet to ride through our obstacle course that will be set up by the Warwick Police Department. This program will be held in the library parking lot.

Starring Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr. and Ashely Judd.  (2011) Based on true events, Winter, a young dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap, and Sawyer, an introverted 11-year old boy who befriend her.  Sawyer rallies friend and family alike to save Winter by convincing a pioneering doctor to create a unique prosthetic tail to restore the dolphin’s ability to swim.  Rated PG; 119 min.

Build on your basic Italian language skills with additional vocabulary, grammar, and conversational practice.

Students are requested to have a copy of the book "Colloquial Italian" by Sylvia Lymbery.

Those who participated in Learn to Knit will continue on to Part Two in this 4 week course. Yarn will be provided, but you must supply your own size 8 knitting needles.

On World Book Night - April 23, 2013 -  the Friends of the Albert Wisner Library will once again be "Spreading the Love of Reading Person to Person."  Apply to be a book giver by January 23rd at the World Book Night website, and select one of the 30 titles chosen by an independent panel of librarians and booksellers.  You will receive 20 copies of your chosen title to give away FREE to members of the community. Albert Wisner Public Library has been chosen as a pick-up location for the books.

Celebrate the 2013 baseball season opener - visit "First Pitch" in the Library's Community Room through the month of April.

On April 23rd from 6:30 to 7:45pm James Amore will meet with visitors to his exhibit, which features limited edition signed prints from digitally-produced masters of the originals as well as original watercolors.  The artist created these over a 20-year period working in the sports industry.  All of the pieces celebrate the players and the game of baseball.

Many of baseball's icons are here:  Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Thurman Munson, Johnny Podres, Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente - to mention just a few.
