    Members of The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will be on hand to help attendees make lovely traditional lotus flower lanterns using colorful paper and wire frames. All materials will be provided; participants may choose the color of their lotus flower. Traditional Korean refreshments will be served.

    The Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Korean history and culture.  A short documentary film on Korean artistic tradition will be shown as an introduction to the aesthetics of Korea.

    Registration in person only at the Help Desk.  A $5.00 non-refundable materials fee is due at the time of registration.  Registration is limited to Warwick library card holders until May 14.

    Kuchipudi is a classical dance from southern India known for its graceful movements and strong narrative character.  Join us for an interactive workshop by a prominent danseuse, Sahana Natesan, who will demonstrate the techniques and gestures of this art form while performing a dance from the Kuchipudi repertoire.

    *This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.  This project is also funded with support from the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation.

    Join Tommy Tcheng and Kaina Quenga for an authentic Hawaiian cultural experience that will include puppetry, storytelling, ukulele, songs and maybe even some surfing!

    This is an outdoor perfomance please bring a lawn chair.  There is unlimited seating.  In case of inlclement weather the program will be held in the  Community Room.  Seating in the Community Room will be limited to the first 80 on the registration list.
