Book Review Club will meet to discuss new books they've read and write reviews.
Reading Together Program: Do you have children between the ages of 9 and 11? Would you like to spend more time reading and discussing books as a family? Then the Together program is for you. Join us for this six-session program where 9 and 11 year-olds and their parents get together to talk about books and ideas. Books, snacks and activities for younger siblings are all provided at each session. We will be focusing on three themes: (2 books for each theme) Being American, Courage and Freedom. Three picture books and three novels will be read. The picture books are La Mariposa, Martin's Big Words and the Girl Who Loved Wild Horses. The novels are Letters from Rifka, Shiloh, and The Friendship. Books will be loaned to each child and adult that registers. In order to ensure a successful program, attendance at all six sessions is required.
For ages 14-36 months. Move and groove with Melinda Burgard, music therapist. This class will meet Monday October 22 & 29. Registration is at the library only and begins September 8. Please bring your library card.

Joshua Marber, MS. Ed., will advise teens and their families on aspects of the college admissions process in his three-part series. Part One, "Choosing the Right College" will cover searching for the right school, getting the most of your college visits, the application process, and much more!
Joshua has over 15 years of experience in the education, counceling, and college fields working as an admissions councelor, financial aid councelor, and academic advisor. He will provide helpful information that will get you started on the right road now and after you graduate from high school.
Joshua will return in January with Part Two: "Paying for College" and in February with Part 3: "College Forum-Q & A."
