Have you ever wondered what life was really like for the people living in the Warwick area during the 17th, 18th or 19th centuries?
Using the concept of Time Travel, Dr. Jon Hunner, professor of History at New Mexico State University, will illustrate how historians, local history organizations and re-enactors use the sites and the stories of their local history to create engaging programs that bring the past to life.
In addition to illustrating the activities of the various Time Travel events in Estonia, Finland, Italy, Latvia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States, Dr. Hunner will also explain how to do Time Travel with examples from his university course in New Mexico. The program will be vividly illustrated with event photos.
