This program will teach you how to stay warm and comfortable outdoors as well as hiking tips, what gear you will need, where to hike, and information on area hiking groups. Examples of equipment will be on display.

Japanese embroidery is an embroidery technique that goes back more than 1600 years. Initially only used to decorate items used during religious ceremonies, it gradually took on a more artistic purpose. Betty Hill will demonstrate her art and discuss her experience at the Kurani Kai School of Embroidery in Japan.
