Family Central invites all new and expectant parents to join this support group to learn about infant care. Topics include feeding, sleeping, soothing and development in addition to the adjustment to parenting and balancing family life. Led by two experienced maternity nurses who are certified in childbirth education, lactation counseling and parenting education, this group will provide a place to meet other new parents and to learn the latest research information on infant care and child development.
Paula Spector is a registered nurse with an M.S. in Health Education. She has over 30 years of experience and is a certified childbirth educator ICEA, a certified lactation counselor and NYSPEP Parent Educator Level II.
Ellen Mahony is a registered nurse with an M.S. in Child/Maternal Health. She has over 30 years of experience and is a certified Childbirth Educator (Lamaze) and a certified counselor IBCLC.

This group is for adult members only.
Join us for series of improvistional workshops to be scheduled throughout the summer under the direction of Linda Richmond. She will lead participants through developing characters and scenarios from their imaginations and experiences to improvising a play around common themes. No prior acting experience is necessary and there is no script, so you don’t have to learn lines!
A play developed from these summer workshops will be performed for the community at the Library in the fall. Please call the Help Desk at 986-1047, ext. 3 to register for the workshops. This program is open to all seniors residing the WVCSD.

What is letterboxing? Make a stamp of your own, follow the clues as you hunt thru the library to find the treasure boxes! Stamp your notebook and try and to find them all. Ice cream social to follow.
