Letterboxing is an intriguing pastime combining artistic ability with delightful "treasure hunts" in beautiful, scenic places that all age groups can enjoy.
Come learn the basics, create a personal stamp and participate in a "Literary Treasure Hunt". Wrap up the evening at our Ice Cream Social.
For Grades K-5 with a parent. Make a stamp and follow the clues as you hunt through the library to dig-up the treasure boxes. Try to find them all and stamp your notebook as you do!
Ages 2-7. Just drop-in on Saturday mornings to hear great stories, sing songs and make a craft. This is fun for the whole family!

Where to begin searching for your family's roots? Local history Librarian Sue Gardner will show the basics of the two genealogy services the Library offers, and participants will be able to use their own laptops or the Library's equipment to begin their family tree research. Registration is required, and space is limited to 10 participants. If you are not bringing your own laptop, please bring a "jump drive" on which to save your search results.
Ages 10-36 months. Join music therapist Melinda Burgard for this fun music class for little ones. Sing, clap and dance together with your child. This 5 week session will meet on Monday mornings. Registration will begin June 15 at the library.

Learn about the efforts by people in Africa, Europe, and the United States to use local historical resources to make the past come alive. Time Travel has held events where thousands of people have role-played living in the past. They are also re-creating the past in school classrooms and museums.
Families can come to the library on Monday nights and make a craft together. This weeks craft: Cave Paintings and Fossils
**Crafts are recommended for children ages 5 and up**
