It's time for the 2nd Annual Teen Game Day! This year, we'll have more mini challenges, Minute to Win It-style, as well as water balloons and a live action game. This year's is Angry Birds! Come play live action Angry Birds and have fun knocking over stuff! With slingshots!
Learn new techniques to make your own stamp. This book has been isnpired by the book Dumpling Days by Grace Lin.
The gently flowing movements of Qigong & Taijiquan, known more simply as Tai Chi, are ancient Chinese practices widely recognized for promoting many health benefits. These include improved balance, better posture, enhanced energy, and calmness of mind. In this series of 6 sessions, participants will learn standing meditation, simple qigong exercises, and some basic taijiquan postures.
Classes will be conducted outdoors, weather permitting, and are limited to 30 participants. Registration is required for each individual session. Registration for all sessions is not required.
Grades 2-5. Get ready to make some awesom shirts. Bring a white cotton t-shirt(pre-washed) and be surprised by the great colorful patterns you'll create.
Paint a stained glass celestial sun catcher for your window. This is a child and adult helper craft. Recommended for children 5 and up.
We will share the story Hokey Pokey Man by Steven Kroll. While we listen to this story about the first ice cream cone, we will make our own ice cream. Participants will have a chance to taste the ice cream we have made.
