Join us for a discussion of the French classic, Eugenie Grandet.

The Grandet household, oppressed by the exacting miserliness of Grandet himself, is jerked violently out of routing by the sudden arrive of Eugenie's cousin Charles. Eugenie's emotional awakening, stimulated by her love for her cousin, brings her into direct conflict with her father, whose cunning and financial success are matched against her determination to rebel. - Barnes and Noble

What is living in the woods?  How do you know what is there?   Frequently when hiking, we come upon crumbling stone walls, wells, trash heaps, fruit trees, and other evidence of former inhabitants but most of us do not realize what we are looking at.  This program will show how to differentiate between the works of man and the works of nature.
