CALLING ALL TEENS: LIBRARY TEEN ADVISORY BOARD

The Albert Wisner Public Library has a long tradition of welcoming and encouraging teen involvement. One facet of teen involvement is the Teen Advisory Board, whose members range from ages 12-18. Meeting once monthly, the group provides input to library staff on materials they’d like to see included, updated or expanded, about programs they’d like to see created that are targeted toward their interests or concerns, and about ways to make the library a helpful, inviting place to find recreational materials and conduct research for school.
