There was an elm on Cherry Street...

Elm Tree

The great elm of Cherry Street died from the Dutch Elm disease that killed so many of Warwick’s elms in the last 80 years. The tree measured 21 feet in circumference and had a tall, clear stem of about 15 feet before major forking. It was estimated to be about 300 years old.

The Warwick Tree Memory Project...

...was established to encourage members of the community to share their favorite tree poems, stories, or memories. The collection of these writings are presented here, organized by genre, and then alphabetically by author.
