Tree Story

What you are going to be reading in a moment is one of my favorite tree stories. I have a neighbor, her name is Katy and her favorite animal is a monkey, mine is a dog. So one day we decided to play a game called “Monkey and Doggie.” At the time we were only six and seven.

When we first started playing we needed a place to live so we looked around and said that tree is a good place to live because it was short enough for us to climb. Everyday after school I would go over to her house and we would play “Monkey and Doggie.” We would have the most fun. We would go on adventures and long trips.

One of the adventures we took was a space rocket into the dinosaur times. We didn’t have many things to play with in the yard so for a space rocket we used a dog house. One part I hated about the game was when we would have to go inside and eat dinner or do homework or even take a shower. This is one of the best games I’ve ever played and I will never forget the adventures of “Monkey and Doggie.”
