Why do leaves fall off the trees?

The colors are so beautiful. Orange, red, yellow, and brown, Even when they come trickling down you can hear the crumbling sound.

But we all know winter’s on its way and pretty soon the trees will be bare and the leaves are all gone. The new falling snow falls through and below until it’s spring next year when we hear the birds sing.
