Cherry Tree

My grandfather died 15 years ago from lung cancer. I never met him, but my father told me many stories about him. I suspect he was a funny and nice guy. His birthday was on Halloween and all the neighborhood kids gave him their Halloween candy as a birthday present. He loved watching birds and planting trees around the house. He loved trees because he loved to watch the bluebirds sit on the trees. He loved trees, also, because he liked to watch them grow just like his kids grew. His favorite bird is a bluebird. His fa-vorite tree is a cherry tree. So around our house we planted flowers, trees, and bird-houses for him. I think the most important thing in our garden is the cherry tree we planted for the bluebirds and in memory of my grandfather.
