Here is a photo of a pin I found in my yard in 1961. I have always been puzzled by it. It shows the New Jersey state emblem in the center and the words Bellvale New Jersey around the outside edge. I know there were border conflicts but from what I had read I didn't think Bellvale was ever considered part of New Jersey. The spelling on it appears is as we spell Bellvale today and not as Belleville, New Jersey. What a coincidence that I should find it while digging in my garden along the side of my house! Does anyone have any more information or ideas about this?
