David Sipress, a cartoonist who regularly contributes to The New Yorker, remembers growing up in a city simultaneously grimier and more glamorous in, "What's So Funny?"  David will be here at the Library to talk about his new memoir which will will be available for purchase and signing.
 
DAVID SIPRESS has been staff cartoonist since 1998 for The New Yorker, where he has published nearly 700 cartoons. He lectures widely on cartooning, and his autobiographical writing has appeared frequently on newyorker.com.
