Author Thomas Gorman will present the historical events and personalities that strongly influenced his historical novel. The Fat of the Land.  The story takes place in the years 1918-1932, but there are many parallels to America today:  immigration, economic policy, tariffs, race relations, women’s rights and more.  Thomas Gorman will discuss his book and sign copies, which will be available for purchase.

 

Tom Gorman has worked in the financial services industry for twenty-five years. He holds numerous financial licenses and designations.

Undoubtedly, his favorite designation is a private one, “grandpa.”  Tom lives in Orange County, New York with his wife, Carol, and their youngest daughter. His two older daughters have families of their own.  Tom has several passionate interests, including history, archaeology and photography.
