Albert Wisner Public Library invites the community to join friends and neighbors online on Friday, May 1, 2020 for a musical celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.

The Uncle Brothers (Tommy Gardner performing solo) will debut a virtual Earth Day Concert for the community which will be available on the Library’s website (albertwisnerlibrary.org), premiering at 6:30pm on May 1st, 2020.  No registration is required.  A link to the concert will appear on the home page and on this page shortly before the concert begins.

This concert is perfect for kids of all ages and of course, adults too! Those who have experienced an Uncle Brothers show know that they are very interactive, including dancing and singing along. This very special show will be a bit different, featuring songs about taking care of each other and our great planet, and how we can do our part to be more 'green.'  Tommy's original songs including "Only You Can Change the World," "One," "When We're Happy We Laugh," "Live Today" and more will be featured. He also has written additional lyrics to songs you may know, such as "The Unicorn (Green Version)," "We've Got the Whole World in Our Hands," and "Green Machine (Rattlin' Bog)." Tommy will also premier a brand new song for kids called "Wash Your Hands."  Each verse is designed to be about 20 seconds long so that kids can learn it and sing as they as they wash their hands.

This concert is made possible by a generous gift to the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation by Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.
