Presenter Beverly Braxton is an educational leader who throughout her 29 years at the WVCSD worked at all levels of the educational system: classroom teacher, school/district committees, professional development and PTA officer.  Beverly helped pioneer the District’s Partners in Education (PIE) program, which promotes multi-age instruction, project-based learning and parent-teacher partnerships. She is the recipient of numerous teaching and community awards, and since her retirement in 2010, has continued to work — as an education consultant, adjunct professor, and parent educator.  In 2014 she founded Family Central, a non-profit parenting support network for the Warwick community.
