Views of Warwick - paintings by Kevin Unick
The public is invited to meet artist Kevin Unick at a reception in the Community Room. Refreshment will be served.
Kevin Unick, 64, was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He received his formal art training while attending the School of Visual Arts in NYC. He did free-lance illustrations for periodicals and had several of his works exhibited in galleries before joining the NYPD in 1979.
He moved to Warwick in 2000 with his wife, Laurie and their three children, Ryan, Kristen and Matthew. Kevin was inspired by the beautiful vistas of his new home and began painting in earnest again. He has exhibited locally and has won several awards. He retired from the NYPD after 34 years of service as a Deputy Chief and now devotes his time to his craft.
