Albert Wisner Public Library's Policy for Use of Meeting Rooms, which includes procedures and a fee schedule, affirms the American Library Association’s "Library Bill of Rights Concerning Meeting Rooms,”:
As an institution of education for democratic living, the Library should welcome the use of its meeting rooms, for socially useful and cultural activities. Such meeting places should be available on equal terms to all not-for-profit groups in the community regardless of the beliefs and affiliations of their members, provided that the meetings be open to the public.
AS OF MARCH 16, 2020 EXISTING ROOM RESERVATIONS AND RENTALS ARE CANCELLED BECAUSE THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED. You are welcome to call and reschedule once the Library reopens. Thank you.
