    Got cabin fever but unsure how to explore the wild in winter? Join John DeSanto and Sona Mason of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference on an Intro to Winter Hiking.

    Sat. Feb. 8 at 10am:   Meet at the Library for a brief pre-hike chat.  Details such as what to wear and bring, safety and location will be discussed.  Particpants are required to attend  The location of the hike will be announced at this meeting.

    Sat. Feb. 15 :  THE HIKE! (snow date Feb. 22)

     

    Sona Mason is a staff member and volunteer at the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, which manages the NY & NJ portions of the Appalachian Trail in addition to over 2000 miles of regional trails.

    John DeSanto is the Appalachian Trail Ambassador for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy in Warwick. The town of Warwick happens to be an Appalachian Trail Community.
