Come join in The Acting for a Change Senior Improvisational Theater troupe! This invitation open to all seniors who want to experience the joys and wonders of improvisational theater. The skills of improv are something anyone can learn! Just join the group and then improvise your way to some fun…No prior experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate. No lines to learn! You don’t have to be “funny” to come to these sessions: but you will have fun! New members are always welcome.
The group will be led by Dr. Linda Richmond, a former actor and practicing psychologist with an interest in community drama groups who has a wealth of experience directing expressive drama groups.
To register or for more information call Kathleen G. at the LIbrary: 986-1047 ext. 5.

Peggy Guggenheim was a patron of the arts extraordinaire who transformed a modest fortune and impeccable taste into one of the premiere collections of twentieth century art. After the film screening, Laure Byro will lead a discussion about it and also read from her new volume of poetry, La Dogaressa, which was inspired by Guggenheim.
