The Amity Foundation for Healing with Horses - recently featured as a cover story for Orange Magazine - harnesses the therapeutic power of horses to help humans recover from emotional trauma. This video shows how the process works and why it’s important…especially today. Sexual abuse, bullying, PTSD. Here’s how horses can help. The Foundation offers an effective alternative to traditional therapies. Its services are available at low or no cost to those suffering from PTSD and other severe traumas. The Foundation aims to substantially expand its reach within the community to promote recognition of the unique benefits of equine-based therapy in addressing the often-debilitating effects of psychological trauma.
