Zumba that can be done by everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.  Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity.  Can be done seated as well.  This program will be held in person, socially-distanced, outside on the River Birch Patio at the back of the building

Instructor Jessica Rose Duggins has been a ZIN member since Aug 2019 and absolutely loves teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple:  every class feels like a party! She is ready to get you moving, sweating, and feeling unstoppable.  Jessica is currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids & Kids Jr.

Please dress to sweat and bring your own water bottle if you would like.

This class will meet on Wednesday mornings in July and August.  Please register for each session individually.  If it is raining, the class is cancelled, not moved indoors.

Please note that there is no access to the library building until 10:00am

Find out everything there is to know about volunteering at the Warwick Children's Book Festival, which will be held from 11am-4pm on Saturday, October 9 at Stanley-Deming Park.  Pick up your t-shirt.  Sign up for a shift or 2 (or 3.)  Learn about what help is needed to set up, work the children's area, assist the authors and illustrators, and help us clean up and take everything down at the end.  You must attend the orientation if you want to volunteer at the book festival.  Attending the orientation earns you 1 hour of volunteer time!

Calling all the young and young at heart to Stanley-Deming Park (3rd St. and Parkway) for the Warwick Children's Book Festival.  Dozens of distinguished authors and illustrators of books for children will be on hand to autograph their books (for purchase on site) and talk with their readers.  Free admission.  Free concert for children by The Uncle Brothers at 12:00.  Therapy dogs will be on hand to listen to children read their new books aloud.  This is a special opportunity to leave screens behind and engage with the printed word and all who make childhood reading such a wonderful experience.   Stanley-Deming Park is safe and family-friendly, offering an accessible playground, restrooms and plenty of (fenced) space to play.

** Depending upon local and State regulations in effect at the time, masks, social distancing and hand sanitizer may be required in order to enter the Festival tent.  Please plan accordingly. **

The Festival is presented by Albert Wisner Public Library, and sponsored principally by Library benefactors Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.  The Village of Warwick, ShopRite of Warwick and the Warwick Valley Farmers' Market also support the Festival.
