Starring Kang Ho Song and Sun Kyun Lee. Meet the Park family, the picture of aspirational wealth. And the Kim family, rich in street smarts but not much else. Be it chance or fate, these two houses are brought together and the Kims sense a golden opportunity. Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist to the Parks. Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide "indispensable" luxury services while the Parks obliviously bankroll their entire household. When a parasitic interloper threatens the Kims' newfound comfort, a savage, underhanded battle for dominance breaks out, threatening to destroy the fragile ecosystem between the Kims and the Parks. By turns darkly hilarious and heart-wrenching, Parasite showcases a modern master at the top of his game. Rated R; 132 min. 2020 Oscar for Best Picture. Discussion and refreshments to follow.Location:AWPL Community RoomAge Group:Adult

Influenced by the rare meeting of Iyengar yoga and the ancient harmonizing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, High Falls resident Zena Cohen has compiled her life's work into one publication, Alignment and the Sacred Core: A unified core is the foundation of wholeness, which offers a struggle-free approach to alignment that is deeply relaxing and can jointly awaken one more fully to instinctual intelligence. Taking readers on a journey of self-discovery, Zena explores health, healing and wholeness in fresh new ways, incorporating beautiful prose, poetry and illustrated yoga poses that invite each one of us to enter into an ever-deepening consciousness with an evolutionary zest. Join author Zena Cohen for a discussion of her book Alignment and the Sacred Core.
An astrologer, Zen Master and certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, Zena has been enriched and guided by many masters and teachers such as American Zen Master Charlotte Joko Beck and Spiritual Master OSHO, whom she credits for opening and allowing the pioneering development of her creative and profound life’s work. Her approach to wholeness is one of deep insight that invokes a sense of self-discovery and innovative ways of developing the healing arts and sciences both within herself and those with whom she works. It is this integrative approach that led her to writing and publishing Alignment and the Sacred Core.
