Nadia Hashimi is a pediatrician turned novelist who draws on her Afghan culture to craft internationally bestselling books for adults as well as young readers.  Her novels span generations and continents, taking on themes like forced migration, conflict, poverty, misogyny, colonialism, and addiction.  Nadia is no stranger to Warwick:  her family owned Larry's Deli for years.  She will join us on Wednesday, May 12 to discuss her new novel, Sparks Like Stars (William Morrow, 2020).  Copies of the book will be available at the Library, with additional copies available to place on hold.
