Celebrate Black History Month with the Caldecott Honor book, Tar Beach, written and illustrated by Faith Ringgold.  Listen to the story of a young girl's wish to be free forever and go wherever she wants. There are beautiful quilts on the borders of each page of the book, and so we will create small squares of quilt tiles using pattern paper.  Register beginning December 19 to reserve your bag of craft supplies.  The video and supplies will be released on Thursday, February 11.  For families.

Scarf Love Storytime- Dance, sing and move with colorful scarves and fun songs. Ages 2-6. A scarf decorating kit will be available on the children's cart starting Jan. 4. First come, first served.

Valentine's Day Butterfly Treat:  register to reserve a bag of supplies, then watch the video to see how to make some sweet Valentine's Day treats.  For families.  Register beginning December 19.  Bags of supplies will be on the Children's cart starting Friday, February 12.  The video will be released on Saturday, February 13 at 12:00pm.

Music with Mr. Matt- Parent and child will sing, dance and play along to classic favorites and some new exciting fun songs! Ages Birth- 36 months.

Preschool Storytime- Join us for stories, songs and more! Ages 3-5.

Use Rice Krispy Treats, Fruit Roll-Ups and more to create 2 kinds of candy sushi.

Cooking with Miss Judy:  Grill Your Cheese!  Learn how to make a delicious grilled cheese sandwich!  Register beginning December 19  and receive a list of ingredients and suggested extras in a envelope with your name on it on Friday, February 12.  Then watch the video on February 16 for a cooking demonstration.
